October must have – Matte Nail Polish.

It’s time to update your fall colors, especially with nails.  Using a matte top coat to change the texture of your current polish is an easy, and cheap, way to change up your manicure.

My favorite Matte top coat is Essie “Matte About You” – It’s $10 at Ulta.

Look at how excellent black looks matte:

Review: Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm

September Ipsy Glam Bag brought to me Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in Big Apple.  This is a delicious true red.

I wore it without lip liner to keep the color true for the pic.

This is not the most moisturizing and I think the name “balm” is a bit misleading, but it is long lasting.

It may be less drying if worn over a lip balm.

I will say, I’m officially IN LOVE with Cailyn.  And Ipsy for continuously feeding my addiction.

Mac Cosmetics Halloween 2013

MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with SFX makeup artist Rick Baker and I have to say the outcome is truly exciting.  Rick Baker worked on projects such as the Thriller music video,  Star Wars, Harry and the Hendersons, The Ring and Norbit.  Check out his entire IMDB page to be wowed by his resume.
